As we started this creative process during a pandemic, I have found it quite an interesting experience so far.
Learning through a camera and screen is quite daunting however rewarding too. To start off this process we were given a stimulus which would be our base and starting point for the piece. What was given to us was a written score with the theme of photosynthesis. Throughout the first couple zoom sessions we learnt and played with these phrases as well as creating our own movement and scores. Alongside this we also played around with voice which I had never done much of previously. I found this slightly nerve racking however, I've grown to enjoy it by exploring more of voice with movement. Now that we have been allowed back in the studios, we have been rehearsing the phrases and engaging with small tasks such as using the written material/scores to create more movement. What I loved about our most recent rehearsal was that we moved into outdoor spaces. This really helped
